Having a great professional headshots is a crucial part of how we connect with others today. Whether it be on Model Mayhem, Facebook or in-person, your headshot is a key part to making a great first impression.

Modeling/Actor Headshots
In-Studio $125 / On-location $175

This Shoot is designed as an up-date or a start to a model/actors portfolio and is shot from the chest up. Clients can bring up to 4 outfits. The session includes unlimited photos and can be either in studio or outside. Headshot photo sessions are limited to 1 hour. Clients should come with hair and makeup already done and ready to shoot. Clients will receive all edited high-resolution images via Dropbox and includes 4 final touched-up images of their choice.

Comp cards –A.K.A. Composite Cards, Zed Cards or Flip Cards

A comp card is used by models nationwide just like a business card. The front of the card shows the model's headshot with name and the back has a series of photos featuring the model in various outfits and poses. The back typically contains the model's stats and might include the model's agency logo and contact info. We offer three options for comp. card shoots.

Comp. Card Option 1
In-Studio Modeling/Actor Comp. Card Session $225

Option one is for an in-studio photo session and may include up to 4 outfits. This session is great for when the weather or lighting is not conducive for shooting, or for clients looking for a more controlled and/or intimate experience. In-studio sessions are also great for first timers looking for more instruction. Session includes unlimited photos and is limited to 1 hour. Session will include a variety of poses including headshots ½, ¾ and full length poses. Clients should come with hair and makeup already done and ready to shoot. Clients will receive all edited high-resolution images via Dropbox and includes 6 final touched-up images of their choice.

Comp. Card Option 2
On-Location Modeling/Actor Comp. Card Session $250

Option two is for an on location photo session and may include up to 4 outfits. This session allows for more variety of scenery and allows the model/ actor to interact with the natural surroundings. Session includes unlimited photos while on location. Session will include a variety of poses including headshots, ½, ¾ and full length poses limited to 1 hour. Clients should come with hair and makeup already done and ready to shoot. Clients will receive all edited high-resolution images via Dropbox and includes 6 final touched-up images of their choice.

Comp. Card Option 3 “The Combo Package” Our Best Value.
On-Location & In-Studio Modeling/Actor Comp. Card Session $350

Option Three is the best of both worlds. Clients will get up to 45 minutes in-studio and on-location and up to 6 changes or “looks.” If your looking to start fresh or a complete overhaul of your card this is the perfect choice. This session gives the greatest diversity of looks and lighting.
Session includes unlimited photos while on location. Session will include a variety of poses incuding headshots, ½, ¾ and full length poses. Clients should come with hair and makeup already done and ready to shoot. Clients will receive all edited high-resolution images via Dropbox and includes 8 final touched-up images of their choice.

What should I wear for my headshot?

Men – Several pressed or steamed solid neutral colored tops with varying neck lines and layers (ie: sweaters, t-shirts, collared, button down…)

Women – Same as above – avoid overly patterned or textured fabrics. Form fitting attire works better than wardrobe that is more flowing. Casting directors want to get a sense of your body type – camisoles or a V-neck work very well, and as mentioned layers are great too! For both…it’s best to keep it simple when choosing clothes. Don’t let yourself get too consumed by it. Suits and other more specific looks can be explored if needed but beyond that, this is about selling you, not so much about what it is you are wearing. Whatever you decide to bring along make sure it’s stuff you look in the mirror and feel great in!

What About Makeup?

The DIY option

Men – Makeup is generally not needed, however If you have experience with it your welcome to it.

Women – Whether inside or out we will be under professional grade lighting and your base/foundation should be heavy enough to stand up to it. However, don’t over do it! Crazy colors, or shimmers can be very distracting; your regular base with every day mascara, shadow, blush and lips should do it. Make sure to avoid using base or powder with any UV/SPF protection or titanium dioxide as this reflects light and causes highlights on your face. “Photoready” base and powder like “Revlon’s PhotoReady™” powder is good and affordable. MAC products are also recommended. If you do not use a makeup artist then go to a MAC Cosmetics or another store and ask a makeup artist there what they recommend for flash photography and natural light situations.
